Dear Friends,
Dove Christian Center has set up a Haiti Relief Fund. We have two main contacts there, Pastors Serge Coulanges and Jean Romaine; very caring, selfless, individuals. Both have permanent visas and could live in the U.S but are devoted to their beloved Haiti and have chosen to stay and serve. We have established contact with them both. Neither is sectarian in their thinking and will not exclude those needing aid within their sphere!
Serge is known all over Haiti. He has built a hospital in an area of 100,000 population without even having a clinic, and has founded over 40 churches. He also has a school with over 400 children. Jean and wife Marise have a well established Boy’s Home where they take boys off the street, give them schooling in a safe environment, enabling them to become viable citizens.
I have been to Haiti many times trekking through the mountains with Serge, touching almost all of the works he has established. Over the years, along with the help of many others (including First Assembly of God, RC), we have been able to help equip his hospital, a chicken farm, send a rice hulling machine, construction tools, vehicles, etc.
Thank God for all the relief agencies that are already there; sadly however, much of their aid will fall into the hands of thugs. Also, of necessity most of their aid will go to the large areas where the masses congregate. Our aid will get in behind the scenes where many will be totally neglected; elderly, young, infirm, those who cannot fight through the crowds. While it might seem like using a teaspoon to drain the ocean, our efforts will make a difference. As the song goes “Little Is Much When God Is In It”!

All of your support will be kept in a separate fund and go directly to the people, via the reliable contacts we have—no overhead!
